Thanks to FerrariChat website we have some tech details about the upcoming Lamborghini Jota or LP700-4, the car that will replace the actual Murcielago LP670-4 SuperVeloce.
The source indicates that the Lamborghini Jota – LP-700 will have a 6.5-liter V12 – 680Nm at 5500rpm and redlines at 8250rpm and a seven-speed single-clutch automated manual capable of delivering 50-ms shifts.
0-60 mph is said to take just 2.9 seconds, and top speed is estimated at 219 mph.
The entire will be made of carbon fiber, making it 70 percent stiffer and 229 kg lighter than the Murcielago.
But carbon fiber isn’t the only F1-inspired goodness — the car also has F1-based suspension at the rear, according to the source.
Lamborghini Jota will be shown in Geneva Auto next spring. Get ready
