Volvo bringing new S60 and V60 Edition models to the market image

The Swedish automaker has recently taken the wraps off the brand new S60 Edition and V60 Edition, both featuring a range of exterior and interior tweaks.

The S60 Edition and V60 Edition are eagerly awaiting the generational change but before that happens the Swedes are going to catch the attention of potential customers using “an additional splash of dynamism.” The 2017 model year S60 Edition and V60 Edition models feature new exterior paint options – including the Luminous Sand and Mussel Blue that have already been prepared for the S90, V90 and XC90 crossover. Buyers can also go for an enhanced visual appeal by selecting the diamond cut 17-inch Rodinia alloys or the bigger 18-inch Tucan set of wheels. Additionally there’s an array of glossy black parts, such as front and back bumper inserts and the front grille which also adds chrome finished horizontal bars. The design tweaks are rounded on the outside via the integrated exhaust tips, rear park assist, and retractable door mirrors which now have become standard equipment.

Moving on to the interior, the Volvo S60 and V60 Edition models come with sport seats wrapped in leather with an off-black or soft beige look. We also noticed a lack headliner and a heated steering wheel which has a contrasting thread and groove. The standard Milled Aluminium interior trim can be changed for an optional Piano Black and also the gearshift gaiter is adorned with contrast stitching. Next year we may be treated to the all new generation S60 and V60 models, with the former in both standard and long wheelbase versions.
