Bugatti is planning to put the 16C Galibier into production and the final version of the model is expected to get at least 1, 000 horsepower from its 16-cylinder engine.
After it was officially presented to the public back in 2009 as a concept car, the Bugatti Galibier is being placed into the spotlights once more, this time by the guys at blog.caranddriver.com, who are saying that the supercar will have at least 1,000 horsepower. According to our source, the Bugatti Galibier will hit the production line and the model will be powered by a 16-cylinder engine which might even develop close to 1,400 HP. Unlike its competition, the Bugatti 16C Galibier will not come as a hybrid.
More details on the model are limited for the moment but as a quick reminder, the Bugatti 16C Galibier is a luxury five-door concept which was officially presented to the public in France, on the 12th of September 2009. The Bugatti 16C Galibier was coming with an 8.0 liter front-mounted twin-turbocharged W16 engine, which was “moving” the all-wheel drive system. The final production version of the Bugatti 16C Galibier is expected to hit the market in 2015, under the Royale name.
