The exclusive French automaker and the fashion industry legend Giorgio Armani have joined forces to deliver a line of bags and a collection of clothes that will include anything from wallets to jackets.
The two companies are looking to deliver an “artisanal capsule collection of small leather goods and refined clothing.” Titled Giorgio Armani for Bugatti, the collection is designed for the “sophisticated man who constantly seeks out exclusive luxury.” The collection will be introduced this fall – most likely coinciding with the first deliveries of the new Chiron hypercar and will include cashmere sweaters, a leather jacket, and a blouson jacket. The companies also said we should expect calfskin sneakers with crocodile details as well as treated denim jeans that look “as soft as velvet, thanks to their handmade flocking.”
It appears affluent men also like bags – just like women – because Bugatti and Armani also have an entire line of such goods, from a weekend bag to a glorified purse which has a Bugatti blue liner and horseshoe-shaped emblems. A calfskin briefcase and a handful of smaller items including belts, wallets, and iPad cases are also on the menu, fabricated from either calfskin or crocodile leather. Bugatti President Wolfgang Dürheimer said this collection is an “extremely well-made combination of the style and perfection of Giorgio Armani and the Bugatti brand DNA.”
