There are those who buy luxury cars and those who buy Bugatti cars, apparently. And the latter category now also has access to its apparent counterpart on the sea – the Palmer Johnson Niniette 66 luxury yacht.
Did you think the Chiron features exquisite looks? How about now, when thinking somebody goes out of it and boards this beauty… The company decided to partner with well-known yacht manufacturer Palmer Johnson to create the Niniette 66 – it’s naturally 66 feet long, which is way more than the Chiron, and also tops out at 44 knots (roughly 50 miles per hour), which is not something you would name extreme on land. But you do imagine living on one of this things…right?
This is also not just a boat with a Bugatti badge – the project took life in 2015 when Bugatti and yacht manufacturer Palmer Johnson met and came up with the idea of creating something that can blend the strengths of both brands for the ultimate marine experience. There are no Chiron elements on the boat though – power comes from a regular MAN V8 marine engine offering either 1,000 or 1,200 horsepower, with propulsion provided by MJP waterjets. It also has a four-foot draft, and a cool Bugatti steering wheel for the captain. Other perks include the open deck with lower section with a combined Jacuzzi, sun pad, and champagne bar with two “social areas”, as well as a fire pit between the Jacuzzi and forward seats. Inside there’s a spacious salon with an adjacent master cabin and lots of leather, aluminum, carbon fiber, polished wood and even marble.
