Bugatti has recently pulled the wraps off the Legend Meo Constantini, which will be officially presented to the public during the 2013 Dubai Motor Show.
The new Bugatti Legend Meo Constantini is the third model in the six-part edition “Les Legendes de Bugatti” and it’s dedicated, of course, to Meo Constantini, who was a close friend of Ettore Bugatti, the company’s founder, and two-time winner of the Targa Florio.
“Meo Costantini embodies the most successful era in Bugatti’s racing history. Ettore Bugatti’s vehicles from the 1920s stand for light-weight construction and technical aesthetics. When Bugatti created the Type 35, he inspired one of the most successful racing cars of all time. The Vitesse ‘Meo Costantini’ is reminiscent of the Type 35”, said Wolfgang Schreiber, the Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. president.
As you have probably already figured it out, the new Bugatti Legend Meo Constantini is actually based on the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse and it has been designed to remind drivers of the Type 35 Bugatti, in which Meo Constantini competed, and it’s limited to just 3 units. The interior design of the model is getting blue stitching, Meo Constantini’s signature embroidered in the seats, Vintage motifs engraved in the leather door trim, aluminum plate and more. The exterior is getting a painted silhouette of the original Targa Florio race. The model in question will be officially presented to the public between November 5 and 9, during the 2013 Dubai Motor Show.
