Bugatti shows Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Car Edition at Shanghai image

Bugatti has recently pulled the wraps off the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Car Edition during the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, in a premiere.

After officially unveiling the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Car Edition just a few days ago, the impressive hypercar is ending up in our news once again, this time with the carmaker bringing it to the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, where it managed to attract quite a crowd. The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Car Edition has been developed in order to celebrate the world’s fastest convertible, which is the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, with a top speed of 408.84 km/h (254.04 mph).

The new Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Car Edition is powered by a 7.9 liter W16 quad-turbocharged engine, which is producing a total output of 1,200 HP (882 kW) and 1,500 Nm of torque (1,106 lb-ft), mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission. The hypercar can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.6 seconds. Only 8 units of the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Car Edition will be produced and each one will be priced at 1,99 million EUR.
