The 2015 IAA Frankfurt motor show is just a few weeks away and Bugatti has decided to update its image teasers of the upcoming Vision Gran Turismo concept.
Bugatti, probably the world’s most exclusive mass-production brand, has decided to shed its Olympian attitude and join the host of automakers that take part in the Vision Gran Turismo concept car challenge, which started back in 2013 as a way of celebrating 15 years of Gran Turismo video games. Their own concept car is slated to be revealed in front of the audience taking part in the 2015 IAA Frankfurt motor show. We already showed you one previous teaser of the concept, but now the company has also updated the image roster as the unveiling is drawing closer – the motor show takes place mid-September. Kazunori Yamauchi, GT’s creator set the challenge for the design studios around the world to come up with the cars that are akin to the spirit of the game and fans will have the chance to download and drive them in the Gran Turismo 6.
“Bugatti is the world’s most exclusive super sports car brand and Bugatti cars are only available to an extremely small group of automobile connoisseurs,” commented in a release Bugatti’s boss Wolfgang Dürheimer. “At the same time Bugatti is admired and loved by countless people throughout the world… They can all benefit from the success of our brand; this is a project for our fans.”
The concept is not only going to celebrate the brand’s fans around the world but might actually incorporate the brand’s upcoming form and design styling and could serve as the opener to the next chapter in the automaker’s history. Most importantly, while other designs form rivaling automakers were products of imagination, the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo could actually be a drivable race car if ever constructed.
