The very first example produced of the Bugatti Veyron will be auctioned off by RM Auctions during the Monterey Car Week.
If you happen to be a wealthy car collector, than you simply have to get your hands on the first example produced of the iconic Bugatti Veyron. The hypercar in question will be offered for sale by RM Auctions during the Monterey Car Week and it is expected to fetch between 1.8 million USD and 2.4 million USD, but considering its fame, chances are its price will hit the roof, especially if two or more people will battle over it.
This particular example of the Bugatti Veyron #001 has travelled for just 764 miles so you can actually say it’s brand new. The model has been serviced recently and it is wearing an appealing red and black shade covering its body, along with silver touches on the rear wing, on the door handles, wheels and so on. It has a beige interior design but the most interesting part of it is found under its hood, where the 8.0 liter W16 quad turbocharged engine is resting. This is capable of putting down a total output of 1,000 HP (746 kW) and these are sent to the permanent all-wheel drive through a 7-speed DSG sequential transmission. The Bugatti Veyron has been in production since 2005 and it has recently been dropped in order to make room for its successor, the so-called Chiron.
