The facelifted version of the Buick Excelle GT has been officially unveiled as the model will go on sale exclusively in China.
Buick is keeping things real in China with the recently unveiled 2016 Excelle GT. The model in question is basically a facelifted version of the model which is aimed exclusively for the Asian country. This has received an updated design and it has been equipped with new front and rear bumpers, with an updated front grille, with redesigned headlights, a new pattern for the taillights and several other tweaks.
The interior design of the 2016 Buick Excelle GT facelift hasn’t been left unchanged either and this is now bringing a new steering wheel, new dials, a completely redesigned dashboard with the touch screen display in the center and several other tweaks which should make the model in question more appealing to its future customers.
As far as the engine lineup goes, the vehicle will be packing in a 1.5 liter unit, for the entry-level version, which will be offered with 113 HP (83 kW), connected to the 5-speed manual or to the 6-speed manual transmission. If this seems like not enough, Buick is also offering a 1.4 liter turbo petrol burner, which is producing a total output of 140 HP (103 kW), being connected to the 7-speed dual clutch transmission. The model is also bringing independent new rear suspension. The 2016 Buick Excelle GT will go on sale this March but no pricing details have been announced for the moment.
