The Sandero RS is the next big thing for Renault which has released the online configurator for it.
Before rushing over to your local dealership we will remind you that the Renault Sandero RS is currently available only in Brazil so if you were hoping for a similar Dacia model you will be disappointed as the Romanian based carmaker has no plans on offering such a vehicle on the Old Continent for the moment. But we all know that the Dacia community is very wide and soon we will see replicas of the Sandero RS so you can draw your inspiration from the online configurator of the model.
The budget hot hatch found in the South American country is bringing the 17-inch Grand Prix alloy wheels with the 205 tires. These are optional and so is the metallic paint, which will be setting you back for 1,360 BRL. The interior design of the car has a steering wheel borrowed from the Clio GT, in the Euro-spec, along with seats with decorative stripes, the RS Drive selectable driving modes, climate control, R-Link infotainment system with satellite navigation, a six-speed manual transmission and so on.
On the exterior design we can see the LED daytime running lights, new front bumper, a rear diffuser, a tailgate mounted spoiler, different front and rear bumpers and various decals. Power is being provided by the 2.0 liter four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine which is capable of producing a total of 150 HP (110 kW) and 195 Nm (144 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration takes 8 seconds in the FWD vehicle and the Clio RS can do it, by comparison, in 6.7 seconds. The starting price of the Renault Sandero RS stands at 59,880 BRL or the equivalent of just under 14,000 euros.
