The North American based automaker Cadillac has released more official images with the new ATS model.
According to the car manufacturer, the Cadillac ATS has been developed on the Nurburgring, which means that it has improved handling compared to other models in the company’s lineup, with a sporty but comfortable ride thanks to the Magnetic Ride suspension and 1,550 kg of weight distributed in a perfect balance between the front and the rear. The Cadillac ATS should handle very well in order to attract customers because the main rivals of the American sedan are the BMW 3-Series, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class or the Audi A4.
The Cadillac ATS has been officially presented to the public during the 2012 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit back in January and the model will also go on sale in Europe this autumn, where prices are expected to start at 30,000 euros. The entry-level version of the ATS has a base price of 33,990 USD in the United States and for the money, customers can get the 2.5 liter fuel-efficient engine mated to a new six-speed transmission. For 35,795 USD, the mid-range 2.0 liter turbocharged engine becomes available, offered with a manual or automatic transmission and with rear- or all-wheel drive. The top of the line 3.6 liter V6, with its 320 HP, starts at 42,090 USD.
