Cadillac has recently released more official images with its most expected model, the ATS, just ahead of its official European debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor show in March.
After being officially presented to the public in January at the 2012 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, the Cadillac ATS is currently getting ready to make its European debut, at the Geneva Motor Show on the 6th of March, which will also mark launching the model on the Old Continent, as an American response to the BMW 3-Series, the Audi A4 or the Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
As a reminder, the base engine on the Cadillac ATS is a 2.5 liter naturally aspirated inline-four, which is generating 200 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque, returning an average of 30 mpg on the highway. Other engine options include the 2.0 liter four-cylinder direct injected turbocharged unit, which is developing a total output of 270 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 260 pound-feet, a significant bump over the 2.0 liter engine in the BMW 3-Series with its 240 HP. The Cadillac ATS will go on sale in Europe this autumn and the prices are expected to start at EUR30,000. More details on the European Cadillac ATS at the Geneva Motor Show.
