Cadillac ATS arrives in China image

Cadillac has officially introduced the ATS to China, where the model in question has been officially presented to the public during the 2013 Guangzhou Motor Show.

The Cadillac ATS is getting ready to make its debut on a new market as the model has been recently unveiled in China. According to the car manufacturer, the Cadillac ATS will become available in four trim levels and with two interior color options. The model will cost between the equivalent of 52,000 USD and 72,000 USD.

“The ATS incorporates Cadillac’s latest achievements in design and technology. It is visually stunning and extremely maneuverable, breathing new life into its segment”, said Wang Xiaoqiu, the Shanghai General Motors president.

The Cadillac ATS has been officially introduced back in 2012 and it’s currently being assembled only in the United States. The premium sedan has a four-door body style and a front engine, rear-wheel / all-wheel drive layout, riding on the GM Alpha platform. As far as the engine lineup goes, three units are available for the ATS, the 2.0 liter Ecotec, the 2.0 liter Ecotec and the 3.6 liter, mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Cadillac ATS is 4,643 mm long, 1,806 mm wide and 1,420 mm tall, riding on 2,776 mm wheelbase. The model is rivaling the BMW 3-Series, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class and the Audi A4.
