New renderings with what may become a new version of the Cadillac ATS, the Cabrio in this case, have recently hit the web.
Cadillac has recently pulled the wraps off the ATS Coupe, during the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, last month, and now we get to see some renderings of the Cabrio variant, which may hit the market in the nearby future. The carmaker didn’t announce any details on this subject for the moment but the images posted below are still a good subject for the brain and we have to admit that we won’t feel sorry if Cadillac decides not to put this one into production.
The Cadillac ATS has been in production since 2012 and it’s being assembled in Michigan, the United States. The model is offered as a four-door sedan or a two-door coupe, with a front-engine and rear-wheel drive or a front-engine and all-wheel drive, depending on the version chosen. The ATS is riding on the GM Alpha platform and it has a choice of three engines, a 2.5L I4, a 2.0L I4 turbocharged and a 3.6L V6, mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic. The four-door ATS stands at 4,643 mm long, 1,806 mm wide and 1,420 mm tall.
