Cadillac has announced its plans to introduce the ATS Crimson Special Edition, which is coming with several upgrades.
The new Cadillac ATS Crimson Special Edition is the newest version of the BMW 3-Series fighter to come from the United States. The model in question has received the so-called Crimson Red Metallic exterior paint scheme and it has been fitted with several aerodynamic bits and pieces such as the front low air splitter, the aero optimized rocker moldings or the rear diffuser. The vehicle is also getting the 18-inch forged aluminum wheels with a Dark Silver finish and the cabin has been fitted with the microfiber suede on the gear shifter and on the heated steering wheel.
Cadillac says that the ATS Crimson Special Edition is taking its power from a 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The unit is producing a total output of 270 HP (201 kW) and it has a peak torque of 353 Nm (260 lb-ft). There is also a larger 3.6 liter V6 available for it, with its 318 HP (237 kW) and 362 Nm (267 lb-ft) of torque. The vehicle can be ordered with either the rear-wheel drive or the all-wheel drive. No pricing details have been announced yet but this will be more expensive than the entry-level version which costs 33,065 USD.
