Cadillac ATS going to Paris Motor Show image

The Cadillac ATS will be brought to the 2012 edition of the Paris Motor Show, which will officially open its gates for the media on the 27th of September.

Cadillac has already premiered the ATS model in Europe at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year but that doesn’t mean that the marketing strategy will stop here and, in fact, the BMW 3-Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class or Audi A4 rival will be brought to the 2012 Paris Motor Show too, as the North American based automaker has recently announced.

“The arrival of the ATS now gives us a very strong contender in the biggest-selling segment of the premium cars. The ATS is quick, nimble and great fun to drive. It will appeal to buyers who appreciate a car with superb handling qualities that also stands out from the crowd. We’re confident the ATS has all it takes to go head-to-head with its competitors”, said the Cadillac Europe Managing Director, Wolfgang Schubert.

The Cadillac ATS has been priced at 33,990 USD over-seas for the entry-level version and this trim level is getting a 2.5 liter fuel-efficient engine and a six-speed automatic transmission. The mid-range 2.0 liter turbocharged becomes available for 35,795 USD with either a manual or an automatic transmission and with rear- or all-wheel drive. The top of the line version is getting the 3.6 liter V6 engine with 320 HP for 42,090 USD. Deliveries of the Cadillac ATS will start in December across the Old Continent.
