The Cadillac ATS-L has been recently caught on camera, in a couple of images, while it was quietly sitting around in a parking lot, in China.
Cadillac has been rumored to start the development of the ATS-L (long wheelbase) ever since a few months ago, but it seems that the model in question is beyond development as it has been recently caught on camera in China. The main difference between the ATS-L and the regular ATS is the obvious stretched wheelbase, which has received 100 mm more and it now stands at 2,875 mm, providing more legroom for the passengers sitting on the rear seats.
The Cadillac ATS-L is also coming with an updated front fascia, with more extensive chrome use for the grille surroundings and it seems that changes will stop here. In the same segment, in China, the Cadillac ATS-L will battle models such as the Mercedes-Benz C-Class L or the BMW 3Li and let’s not forget the Audi A4L and it will have a starting price of approximately 270,000 yuan (43,300 USD) once it will become available for order in the second half of 2014. More details on the model will be announced close to its launch.
