General Motors has brought its Cadillac ATS forward one more time by announcing its price list in the United States.
According to the North American based automaker, the new Cadillac ATS has a starting price of 33,990 USD for the entry-level version, which is coming with the 2.5 liter fuel-efficient engine, mated to the next-gen six-speed transmission, returning 30 mpg on highway. The mid-range 2.0 liter turbocharged starts at 35,795 USD, including destination charge, and the model will be offered with a manual or an automatic transmission, with rear- or all-wheel drive. The top of the line 3.6 liter V6, with its 320 HP, will cost 42,090 USD, including destination charge, and this version will be offered with automatic transmission, leather 8-way power seats, adaptive start, all-wheel drive and much more.
“The ATS enters a vehicle segment this year that’s one of the most competitive in the market, from both a price and performance standpoint. ATS will bring a distinctive presence and compelling value while offering quick, nimble, fun-to-drive dynamics that will appeal to the lifestyles of modern luxury buyers and challenge the segment’s status quo”, said the VP of Cadillac Marketing, Don Butler.
The all-new Cadillac ATS has been officially presented to the public back in January 2012 at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. The ATS is going against the BMW 3-Series, the Audi A4 or the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. The model will also go on sale in Europe this autumn and prices are expected to start at 30,000 euros.
