Our spy photographers have managed to capture on camera the Cadillac ATS-V and ATS-V Coupe while they were being tested out on the Nurburgring.
The North American based automaker Cadillac is still undetermined whether to sell a new entry-level model of the ATS or not but one thing is for sure, the high performance ATS-V is just around the corner as the model in question has been spied while it was being tested on the Green Hell. The performance version of the model has been spotted in two body styles, sedan and coupe, and, despite being just two test mules for the moment, we can still see some of their lines.
The 2015 Cadillac ATS-V and ATS-V Coupe will be coming with an updated body kit which will be receiving some aerodynamic tweaks, making the two models look more aggressive. As far as the engine goes, chances are they will be getting the 3.6 liter V6 twin turbocharged unit, which should be producing a total output of 425 HP. The two models will become rivals for the BMW M3 and M4 Coupe and for the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG or Audi RS4. More details on the two vehicles remain unknown for the moment but rumors are saying that Caddy might introduce and ATS-V Plus later on, which should be even more powerful, coming in with a V8 engine.
