The new performance sedan to be added to the premium D-segment, the Cadillac ATS-V, will be officially presented to the public during the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show, in November.
Details on the Cadillac ATS-V seem to be scattered around as more of them pop up online on an almost daily basis. The model in question is now rumored to be introduced at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show, which will open its gates in November, in a four-door body style, while the two-door coupe version of the model will be introduced sometimes next year. According to the guys from LATimes, the vehicle in question will be wearing a 2016 model year in its name.
The new Cadillac ATS-V will be coming with an aggressive body kit, with a larger rear spoiler, a power bulge, a rear diffuser, larger brakes, four-pipe exhaust system and larger alloy wheels. Considering that this will become a rival for performance models such as the BMW M3, Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG or Audi RS4, the model will be packing a 3.6 liter twin turbo V6 engine, producing 420 HP (313 kW) and 582 Nm (430 lb-ft) of torque, connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission sending power to the standard RWD or the optional AWD system.
