Cadillac will be officially introducing the brand new ATS Coupe and Escalade to Europe next month, as the two models will be unveiled during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
The North American based automaker Cadillac will be bringing two of its new models, the ATS Coupe and the Escalade, to the Old Continent, as both of them will be officially presented to the public next month, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The announcement has been recently made by General Motors, which is saying that the new Cadillac ATS Coupe will go on sale this fall, while the Escalade will be introduced towards the end of the year.
“First unveiled at the New York and Detroit Auto Shows, respectively, the Cadillac ATS Coupe and the new Escalade SUV are a few weeks from celebrating their European premiere in Geneva”, says the carmaker in its official press release.
The Cadillac ATS Coupe will become a direct rival for the BMW 4-Series Coupe and for the Audi A5. The model will be equipped with the Magnetic Ride Control, with the CUE infotainment system and with 18-inch alloy wheels. Power will be provided by a 2.0L unit with 276 HP (203 kW). AWD will come as an option with RWD offered as standard. The 2014 Cadillac Escalade will be getting a 6.2L V8 engine, which, in the U.S., is good for 420 HP (313 kW) and 623 Nm (460 lb-ft) of torque. Power will be sent only to the AWD system.
