The North American based automaker Cadillac is planning to introduce two new versions of the ATS, a Convertible and a Wagon.
After officially unveiling the second body style of the Cadillac ATS, the Coupe, at the 2014 North American International Auto Show, just a few days ago, time has come to talk about future versions based on the same car. According to the guys at autonews.com, Cadillac is planning to introduce two new body styles of the ATS, expanding its lineup with a convertible and a wagon. The two new versions of the model have been confirmed by Bob Ferguson, in an interview with Automotive News.
According to our source, the Cadillac ATS Convertible is believed to see daylight quite soon, considering the fact that General Motors’ boss, Mark Reuss, announced back in 2012 that the company has plans for an ATS Convertible. The fourth body style of the Cadillac ATS will be a Wagon. The two upcoming models will receive the same engine lineup as the regular ATS and the ATS Coupe if they will eventually make their way onto the market. A high performance Cadillac ATS-V is expected to make its way into dealerships too, by the end of this year, with a 3.2 liter twin turbo V6 with more than 500 HP (373 kW).
