The North American based automaker Cadillac is considering a new crossover, which will compete with the BMW X3.
Cadillac is rumored to start work on a BMW X3 competitor and after taking on the BMW 3-Series, the Audi A4 and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class with the ATS, presented at the 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the car manufacturer will go against a whole new segment with a crossover placed beneath the SRX. Even if there’s no official word on the BMW X3 competitor, Bloomberg.com is saying that the Cadillac vice president of Sales and Service, Kurt McNeil, has announced this “option”.
“We’re looking at options (a new compact crossover). The fact that Cadillac is becoming more of a global brand will certainly play a role in that decision”, as Kurt McNeil, the vice president of Sales and Service, told Bloomberg.com.
Sadly this is all we know for now about the BMW X3 competitor which might hit the production line under the Cadillac brand, but the car manufacturer might pull a surprise on all of us and present its latest creation during an international auto show this year, like the Geneva Motor Show in March or the Frankfurt Motor Show, which will officially open its gates in autumn.
