General Motors has recently introduced a series of updates for the Cadillac CTS, in the 2015 model year, which should put some gap between the current model and the tweaked one.
The 2015 Cadillac CTS is now coming with some aesthetic changes, which should make it more popular with its future buyers. The model in question has received a revised front grille, the new wrathless Cadillac logo, some slightly updated headlights, the standard projector halogen style assemblies, the Adaptive Forward Lighting for the high intensity discharge bulbs and some other features.
The vehicle is also adding the illuminated door handles and the active grille shutters, for improved aerodynamics, in the base, the Luxury and the Vsport models. Standard wheels are 17-inch in diameter but larger 18- and 19-inch can also be added to the model, along with the Dark Adriatic Blue Metallic and the Crystal White Tricoat.
In the technical department, the 2015 Cadillac CTS has remained basically unchanged and here we can still find the 2.0 liter EcoTec turbocharged engine, rated at 272 HP and 295 lb-ft of torque, in the base version, along with the 3.6 liter naturally aspirated V6 with 321 HP and 275 lb-ft of torque, or the twin turbo 3.6 liter V6, producing 420 HP and 430 lb-ft of torque. All versions are coming with the 8-speed automatic transmission.
