Cadillac CTS-V Carbon Black Edition is another Japan singularity image

The American manufacturer is one of the many indulging in making Japan the land of special editions, with their latest addition exclusive for the local market being the CTS-V Carbon Black Edition.

The model is exclusive to the Japanese market – though American clients can have a similar Carbon Black pack – and all perks, including more aggressive exterior and luxurious interior will make happy just four lucky customers. The CTS-V is not suffering any powertrain alterations – the same supercharged 6.2-liter V8 packing 640 horsepower (477 kilowatts) is on point, for a 60 mph sprint in just 3.7 seconds, and a maximum speed of 200 miles per hour (321 kph). The exterior gives the choice of Sable Black and Crystal White Tri-Coat, which is detailed through a carbon black package delivering a black chrome grille and a matching black front diffuser, side vents, and rear spoiler as well as diffuser. The wheels, for a touch of audacity, are finished in dark gunmetal.

The cockpit is also adorned with the same blacked out credentials. 16-way adjustable performance Recar seats are clad in Jet Black leather and Alcantara, with additional Jet Black accents interspersed throughout the interior – on the dash, trim, and even on the steering wheel. Of course, the latest iteration of the Cadillac CUE infotainment system is front and center on the center stack. The limited series – very exclusive, since it will only be offered in four examples, starts at around ¥14,900,000, which is about $133,000. In the US, a similar appearance can be obtained with the Carbon Black on the CTS, CTS-V, ATS, or ATS-V starting this summer.
