Cadillac will be officially presenting the new CTS-V at the 2015 Detroit Motor Show, which will be opening its gates next month.
2015 will be a big year for Cadillac which will be launching a series of new models. These will include the CT6 flagship sedan and also a rival for the BMW M5, Audi RS6 and Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG. This will be called the CTS-V and, according to a recent report, it will be officially presented to the public at the 2015 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), in Detroit, which will debut in January. The development of such a model isn’t a surprise anymore as it has been caught on camera by our spy photographers numerous times.
The 2016 Cadillac CTS-V will be coming with an aerodynamic body kit which will give it a more aggressive look. This will include the revised front grille, the bulging hood, the rear diffuser, the modifications made to the front and rear bumpers and several other tweaks. The performance sedan will also get a four tailpipe exhaust system and large alloy wheels, wrapped in low profile tires. Power will be provided by a 6.2 liter V8 engine which, in the Corvette Z06, is good for 650 HP (485 kW) and 880 Nm (650 lb-ft) of torque.
