Cadillac CTS-V rendered image

Cadillac’s upcoming performance sedan, the CTS-V, has been recently rendered and we can now see how it may look like when it will finally go official, next year.

The development of a new range topper version of the Cadillac CTS will be called the CTS-V and it will be rivaling models such as the BMW M5 or the Mercedes-AMG E63 once it will roll off the production line, next year. The model is already being tested out and the first prototypes have been already caught on camera by our spy photographers, but seeing it rendered is a well desired fresh touch. The upcoming Cadillac CTS-V will be coming in with some pretty impressive tweaks and also with a new engine. The model will be getting the latest tech features and it will also come with the Magnetic Ride suspension system, with carbon ceramic brakes, with a limited slip differential, aerodynamic body kit made out of the new front and rear bumpers and side skirts and so on. As far as the engine goes, this will most likely be a 6.2 liter supercharged V8, producing approximately 556 HP, connected to the 8-speed automatic transmission from the Corvette Z06. The Cadillac CTS-V will be introduced next January, during the 2015 NAIAS.
