Cadillac has released a new photo gallery with the good-looking ELR, which is now being showed from just about every possible angle.

The 2014 Cadillac ELR is entering our news once again, this time with the help of a new photo gallery. The model in question is being shown from just about every possible angle and for this photo shoot, the company has chosen a silver finished vehicle, with a beige leather interior. The cheapest version of the new ELR has been priced from 75,995 USD, with the 995 USD destination charge, but the cost will be dropped by 7,500 USD thanks to the government rebates.

The Cadillac ELR is basically 41,000 USD more expensive than the Volt and some automotive journalists are saying that if you want to buy such a vehicle, you should get the Tesla Model S instead. The ELR is taking is power from a 16.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which is sending juice to the electric motor. The total output stands at 207 HP (154 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. There is also a 1.4 liter petrol unit on the model, which is acting as a generator. The total driving range stands at approximately 300 miles.

  1. Cadillac seems destined to miss the mark continually, even with building better, more desirable vehicles. These photos are really rough. Looks like they were shot by someone that does scenery and outdoor work, not vehicle work. In auto photography, the car is supposed to be the star. In many of these photos, particularly the exterior shots, your eye goes to the scenery – the amusement park, the mountains, the sky. And the vehicle is terribly shadowed. Some GM exec better open their eyes, as the ego of GM seems back in full force. This is a pricey car, and this is extremely sloppy work.
