The North American based automaker Cadillac has released a second teaser with the 2014 ELR, which is revealing the model with a lot of camouflage on its body.
The 2014 Cadillac ELR has been previewed by the Converj Concept car and the model will come as a two-door coupe and with a hybrid powertrain, which will be highly appreciated by its future customers. The vehicle in question will get a lithium-ion battery pack, a four-cylinder engine, which will act as a generator, and an electric motor, which will probably send its power to the two-wheel drive. The 2014 Cadillac ELR will enter production later on this year.
Unfortunately we don’t have any more details on the 2014 Cadillac ELR for the moment, but as a quick reminder, the Converj Concept, on which the new ELR is based, has been officially presented to the public a few years ago, during the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. The model came with a 16 kWh battery which could be charged in less than three hours at 240V, along with an electric motor and a four-cylinder engine generator. The power produced was 161 HP (120 kW) and 370 Nm of torque (273 lb-ft).
