The North American based automaker Cadillac is planning to develop a coupe version of the ATS and a new flagship sedan.
After it was officially unveiled more than a year ago, the Cadillac ATS is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with a rumor which is saying that the model will get a coupe version. According to the guys over at Automotive Magazine, the Cadillac ATS is rumored to get a coupe as well as a V-Series high performance version. However, a wagon variant of the popular model over-seas will not see daylight.
If it indeed makes it into production, the Cadillac ATS Coupe is expected to get a similar design style to the one used on the four-door sedan and the same interior but probably with some minor tweaks. As for the engine lineup, this is also expected to be carried over from the regular ATS, and it will include the 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbo with 270 HP and 260 lb-ft of torque, the 2.5 liter 4-cylinder with 200 HP and 188 lb-ft of torque and the 3.6 liter V6 with 318 HP and 267 lb-ft of torque. Besides the Cadillac ATS Coupe, the carmaker is also planning to develop a flagship sedan, a model placed above the XTS. Details on this model remain unknown for the moment.
