The 2015 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe has been recently unveiled by the North American based automaker, which will become available for order this summer.
Besides being quite busy with the record recalls announced over these past few months, General Motors can also develop some upgraded models, like the 2015 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe in this case. This will basically be a last hurrah for the model in question and it will become available only in Phantom Gray, Black Diamond or Crystal White finishes, getting satin graphite wheels, red brake calipers and a dark finish for the grille.
“The V-Series continues to elevate Cadillac, providing an exclusive family of high-performance luxury models that attract a new audience of elite and passionate buyers. The special edition is a stepping stone to the next-generation V-Series, which will move to the next level with more dynamic design and technical sophistication”, said Uwe Ellinghaus, the Cadillac chief marketing officer.
The interior design of the 2015 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe is getting Recaro sport seats, microfiber suede wrapped steering wheel, alloy pedals and Midnight Sapele wood trim. Power is coming from a 6.2 liter V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 556 HP (415 kW) and 746 Nm (551 lb-ft) of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual or to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Only 500 units of the model will be produced. Pricing details remain unknown for the moment.
