Cadillac has released a set of fresh images with the upcoming XT5 which are now more revealing than ever.
The newest model to be signed by Cadillac is being called the XT5 and it is nothing more than a replacement for the SRX. The model in question has been prevised just a few hours ago, during a fashion even in New York, and it will be unveiled in a couple of months, during the 2015 Dubai Motor Show, in November, so if you were expecting it at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, next week, you will be disappointed.
The brand new Cadillac XT5 is looking more upscale compared to its predecessor, the SRX, and it is carrying a new design language which has been inspired by the CT6 and by the Escalade as well. Rumor has it that the crossover will be riding on the new C1XX architecture and it should be getting the front-wheel drive as standard, but the all-wheel drive will be offered as well, as an option however. As far as the engine lineup goes, reports are indicating that the vehicle might get a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged unit, producing 265 HP (198 kW), along with a larger 3.6 liter naturally aspirated V6 engine, capable of putting down a total of 335 HP (250 kW). Additional details on the new Cadillac XT5 will probably be announced at the Dubai automotive event, in a couple of months. The vehicle is believed to be offered for sale in early 2016.
