The aftermarket specialists at Callaway have officially pulled the wraps off the Corvette SC610, which has received a series of interesting updates.
According to its creators, the new Callaway Corvette SC610 has been equipped with Callaway branded door sill plates, with a carbon fiber hood and with a unique dash plaque. These have the job of helping the Corvette stand out from a crowd. The most significant upgrades added can be found under the hood of the sports car, where the 6.2 liter V8 engine is now producing an impressive 610 HP (454 kW) and it has a peak torque of 752 Nm (556 lb-ft).
These figures have been achieved with the help of the Eaton supercharger, with the high flow intake, the intercooler and the stainless steel sports exhaust system. This means that the Callaway Corvette SC610 is producing 155 HP (115 kW) and 130 Nm (96 lb-ft) of torque more than the standard sports car. The unit is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission, which is allowing the model to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 3.4 seconds and to run a quarter mile in 11 seconds flat. No pricing details have been announced on the model.
