The previous generation of the MINI Cooper S has become the latest project of Cam Shaft, which has worked on the hot hatch together with PP-Performance.
The previous MINI Cooper S generation may have left the production line in order to make room for the new model, but that doesn’t mean that the vehicle is good for the scrap yard and, in order to appeal to fans, probably one last time, the hot hatch has been recently modified by PP-Performance and Cam Shaft. The two companies have applied a shiny orange body wrap on the model’s original paint, with a pearl effect, a glossy black roof and a matte black look for the wheel arches.
Prices for these upgrades have been set at 1,900 euros, but they don’t include the KW variant 2 coilovers or the 17-inch ATS alloy wheels, wrapped in 215/45 Toyo tires. The two companies have also increased the power of the 1.6 liter turbocharged engine from 184 HP (135 kW) to 240 HP (176 kW) thanks to the custom exhaust system, to the different air inlet with sports air filter and to the remapped ECU. No extra details on the MINI Cooper S “created” by Cam Shaft and PP-Performance have been released.
