Aside from the striking yellow hue, that will make any banana plantation owner quite happy and proud, the upgrades from Carlex are fairly restrained for tuning standards, making the Ferrari look decidedly awesome.
The Ferrari 812 Superfast has just been presented, so we’re not getting over projects involving the Prancing Horse’s F12berlinetta – an astonishing grand tourer with a masterful 730 horsepower (544 kilowatts) 6.3-liter V12. You get ample power, ample performance and of course ample price – but that’s always been part of the package. An owner wanted to also stand out from any crowd and asked Carlex Design for a transformation. This F12berlinetta now comes with a banana yellow exterior, and Carlex Design also uses the vibrant hue for parts of the cabin.
The color is used on the seat inserts, piping, trim, stitching, and even inside the HVAC vents. But there’s also a mix of black Alcantara and perforated leather, as well as Carbon Optic-effect leather on parts of the door cards. The 812 Superfast meanwhile trumps even the limited-edition F12tdf, with design inspired by the 365 GTB/4 Daytona and the V12 surging to 6.5 liters of displacement and 789 horsepower (588 kilowatts) and 530 pound-feet (718 Newton-meters) of torque.
