A 2009 Mustang GT500KR owned by Carroll Shelby will be auctioned at the upcoming Vicari Biloxi Auction.
The automotive legend Carroll Shelby has lost his life earlier this year and since he tragically passed away, there was an increasing demand for everything he touched so his former ride, a 2009 Mustang GT500KR will find a new owner soon at the Vicari Biloxi Auction. The muscle car has been used by Carroll Shelby at his ranch, where it was delivered to him, and the vehicle is powered by a 5.4 liter V8 engine, which is developing a total output of 540 horsepower. The Mustang GT500KR can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds.
As a quick reminder, Carroll Shelby’s company, Shelby American Inc., was founded back in 1962 and it’s currently selling modified Ford vehicles, along with performance parts and he was a world class automobile racing driver in the 1950’s. After starting as amateur, he became a driver for teams like Aston Martin, Cad-Allard or Maserati, and while he drove for Aston Martin, he won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1959. Carroll Shelby has left this world at 89, being survived by his wife, three children, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
