An electric powered racer made by students at Ohio State University, set a new record of 320 MPH today at the Bonneville Salt Flats.
The fuel cells have now been replaced by lithium-ion batteries from A123 Systems and, after several days of aborted runs and wind-storms, the team finally got in two clean passes Monday afternoon. On the first run, the Bullet traversed the flying mile at 286 miles per hour.
However, today, the Bullet succeeded to 320 MPH !!!
UBS AG (UBS) said Monday it will sponsor Formula 1 racing from the Singapore Grand Prix later this month, part of its new branding push.

Ford driver Mikko Hirvonen crashed out of Rally Finland today in a very dramatic way!
Hirvonen lost control of his car over one of the event's trademark high-speed jumps and rolled five times before coming to rest on the road.
Hirvonen held a 5-second lead when he crashed at a speed of 140 kph (87 mph)

Ferrari have changed their controversial racing team logo, with the new design to come into force from January 1 next year.
The team were recently criticised regarding the barcode emblem that had previously adorned their cars and is still on display on the team uniform.
