German luxury carmaker BMW sees a "definite" upturn in almost all car markets after its automobile and motorcycle sales increased 14 percent in February compared with the same month last year. "In key sales markets such as the US, the automotive sector is showing encouraging signs of a gradual recovery," the company said on Tuesday. BMW to make X1 SUV at China venture’s new plant
BMW and Chinese partner Brilliance Auto recently confirmed that the new factory of their venture BMW Brilliance produce the BMW X1 SUV, among other models which will include the BMW 1 Series and stretched BMW 3 series, media reported. BMW to build R&D center in China for more growth
German luxury car maker BMW plans to build a research and development (R&D) center in China for its vehicles to better meet the fast-growing demand in the Chinese auto market, now the world's biggest, China Daily reported today. BMW sees fastest growth, best potentials in China
China has become BMW's fourth largest market, where the German luxury car maker saw the fastest growth in auto sales in 2009, and great market potentials, a senior company official told Xinhua Wednesday.
