Drop Top Customs makes the Cadillac CTS Convertible Coupe!
As far as we know, General Motors has no plans to build a convertible version of the CTS Coupe. But, Droptop Customs, a company from High Springs, Florida, specialized in developing open-top versions of hard-top production cars, is working on an CTS Convertible! The company, owned by Jeff Moran, has done over 5,000 conversions and focuses its attention mostly on domestic automakers. Its official debut will be made in November at the SEMA Show. Cadillac Escalade Tops Theft List
According to the Highway Loss Data Institute, Escalades are most preferred by thieves. According to the same source, 10.8 out every 1,000 insured Escalades were claimed stolen. The average loss per theft claim was $11,934, the institute said, and one in four claims were for $40,000 or more. GM plans to make Cadillac Converj electric vehicle
General Motors Co. plans to manufacture the Cadillac Converj extended-range electric vehicle, Vice Chairman Bob Lutz said. The automaker plans to manufacture the luxury electric coupe sometime after 2012, Lutz told the Society of Automotive Analysts on the eve of the Detroit auto show.
