2011 Range Rover TDV8 is not coming to US
The next generation Range Rover will get a new engine – the LR-TDV8 4.4-liter engine, an engine that will produce 313 Hp, 700 Nm of torque and will be connected via a 8-speed automatic gearbox. Sounds good, but, this engine, unfortunately, will not be available for US customers. Why? Because Current US emission laws are equivalent to Euro6 standards, which, in Europe will enter in 2014. The 5.0-litre supercharged on the other hand makes a hectic 510PS and 625Nm of torque and will be availabel for US customers.

Jaguar Land Rover gets 170-million-sterling loan
Jaguar Land Rover is expected to announce on Monday that it has secured a 170-million-pound ($282.5 million) working capital facility from GE Capital, the Financial Times newspaper said. The five-year loan would help the money-losing car company, owned by India's Tata Motors (TAMO.BO), as it is struggling in the global financial downturn.
