BMW would add to Mini output at German plant
German Carmaker BMW is considering building the next generation of its Mini brand at a domestic plant rather than adding to production at its factory in Cowley, Oxford, according to a report on Sunday. BMW to build two new Mini models at UK plant
Car maker BMW plans to build two new Mini models at its plant near Oxford, the Financial Times reported on Thursday. In an interview with the newspaper, the car maker's CEO Norbert Reithofer said the move would entail new jobs and investments at the facility, which is operating close to its capacity of 200,000 to 220,000 cars a year, the newspaper said. BMW’s Mini to expand U.S. dealerships by 20%
Bayerische Motoren Werke (BMW) AG's Mini brand plans to expand its number of U.S. dealerships by 20 percent during the next 18 months to help increase sales.
