Caterham has recently announced its plans to introduce the new Seven 165 Concept next week, in a premiere, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Caterham’s latest creation is named the Seven 165 and this is a concept car which will be officially presented to the public during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The model in question is serving as a preview for the company’s future entry-level model and it will be the cheapest Caterham vehicle ever produced and also the slowest one, as it will only come with 80 HP.
“The engineering process involved in the creation of the Caterham Seven 165 is nearing completion and, as we piece together the final elements, the car we believe will inspire a new generation of drivers to become Caterham enthusiasts is taking shape in exciting fashion”, said Graham Macdonald, the Caterham CEO.
The brand new Caterham Seven 165 Concept is powered by a 660cc three-cylinder turbocharged engine, which is only producing 80 HP (59 kW) and 107 Nm of torque (79 lb-ft). The unit has been sourced from Suzuki and it will make its way under the hood of the final production model. Additional details on the Caterham Seven 165 Concept are limited for the moment and will be announced during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, next week.
