Caterham has recently brought the new Seven 620R to the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed over the past weekend.
The official replacement of the Caterham Seven R500, the Seven 620R, is being placed into the spotlights once again, after being unveiled just last week, in a dynamic debut over the past weekend, during the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The model in question has a new nose cone, a De Dion rear suspension system, a race-spec cooling system, a gunmetal chassis and it’s now sitting on 13-inch alloy wheels.
Changes to the Caterham Seven 620R have been also applied to the cabin, where carbon fiber, racing seats and a Q/R racing steering wheel have been fitted, amongst other. The model is taking its power from a 2.0 liter Ford Duratec engine, generating 311 HP (232 kW) at 7,700 rpm and 296 Nm (219 lb-ft) of torque, available at 7,350 rpm, enough for a 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint of 2.79 seconds. The model has been priced from 50,000 GBP.
