Caterham has introduced three new versions of the Seven sports car which are already available for order in the United Kingdom.
Caterham has expanded the Seven lineup recently with the addition of three new versions. The model in question have been called the Seven 270, the Seven 360 and the Seven 420 and they will sit between the current entry-level Seven 160 and the range topping 620R supercharged, the most powerful production Seven to ever see daylight.
“Now, with our all-new, simplified model line-up and equipment packages, we feel we have a Seven for everyone, whether your perfect drive is a Sunday drive through the countryside or a hardcore blast around a race track”, said the Caterham Cars CEO, Graham Macdonald.
The Caterham Seven 270 is taking its power from a 1.6 liter Ford engine, with variable valve timing and a total output of 135 HP. This is being followed by the Seven 360, which is carrying a larger 2.0 liter Duratec petrol burner, also made by Ford, with 180 HP. The Seven 420 has a 2.0 liter unit, with 210 HP, and this is coming as a replacement for the Superlight R400.

The range topping Seven 620 costs 49,995 GBP and it needs just 2.8 seconds to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) and it can go up to 250 km/h (155 mph).
