Caterham has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creation, the Superlight R600, which is available to its future customers in the UK from 44, 995 pounds.
The Caterham Superlight R600 has started its life in a teaser image a month ago, which was saying that the model will be unveiled in October. We might have forgotten about this but Caterham didn’t and it kept its promise by presenting us with its latest creation, the Superlight R600. The model is a successor of the Superlight R500 and this is the quickest Caterham Seven race car. The R600 can be bought from 44,995 pounds in the United Kingdom.
The British based automaker says that for the money, customers will get a 2.0 liter Ford Duratec engine under its hood, which is producing a total output of 275 HP (205 kW) and a peak torque of 270 Nm (200 lb-ft), 13 percent more than the current R500. Power is being sent to the rear-wheel drive through a six-speed sequential transmission. Caterham says that this is the first Seven to get forced induction technology. Additional details on the Caterham Superlight R600 are limited for the moment and will be announced shortly.
