Check out the 2017 F1 liveries on production cars before the circus takes flight image

Starting March 26 when the motorsport’s queen competition hits Australia we’re in for another “flying circus” – and the time has come to experience the actors in a different setting.

More precisely, someone has taken the trouble of dressing up the competitor liveries on regular production models – and the results are certainly spectacular and warranting our attention. First off, we have the Red Bull Racing Aston Martin Valkyrie – 850-horsepower (633 kilowatts) and a better power-to-weight ratio than its equally impressive upcoming competitor – the yet unseen Mercedes-AMG Project One. We have it here with the now famous Red Bull Racing livery – this is probably how the two F1 drivers would want their own examples. The Ferrari LaFerrari can’t be had anymore, which is a shame considering how good it looks with an F1 livery.

The McLaren-Honda NSX is actually an oddball job – they could have easily plastered the F1 livery on the newly arrived 720S. We’re not here to complain though, as the Honda / Acura NSX looks spectacular in orange and black. Sauber’s 2017 livery is signaling 25 years of competition in Formula 1 – and we can tell you it looks great on the Ferrari 812 Superfast. There are also more examples – of we specifically enjoyed the Toro Rosso Alpine A110. But feel free to pass judgement on the others as well, embedded in the gallery below.
