The very first images with the BMW 3-Series facelift have recently hit the web and they are showing us the mid-size vehicle in its updated version for the first time.
The German based automaker BMW has officially pulled the wraps off the 3-Series facelift. The model in question has been already caught on camera by spy photographers from across the continent but it seems to have been dressed in camouflage for nothing, because the differences are just too hard to spot. You will be basically playing “spot the differences” at an “expert” level and squeeze your brains out in order to find them all but considering the fact that this is a mid-cycle refresh, we were expecting minor tweaks being made.
The 2016 BMW 3-Series has some slightly updated front and rear bumpers, the LED technology for the lighting clusters, a new color added for the range which hasn’t been named at this time but it is most likely the Mediterranean Blue Metallic from the 2-Series Active Tourer and that’s about all.
The cabin of the updated BMW 3-Series is looking basically identical to the one of the already available model except for some minor tweaks and these include the chrome accents on the side vent surrounds and doors, the new climate control surround and that’s about it. the 340i version will be introduced instead of the current 335i and this will be getting the 326 HP (240 kW) 3.0 liter inline six-cylinder turbo unit. The full details and the entire image gallery haven’t been released at this point.
