Live images with the brand new M4 GTS and 3.0 CSL Hommage R have hit the web and they are showing us the two concept cars from several angles.
BMW has shown, over the weekend, the new M4 GTS and 3.0 CSL Hommage R. The two models are concept cars at the moment but the M4 GTS will be transformed into a production car soon, with its impressive water injection system. Rumor has it that the OLED taillights will also make their way onto the final variant of the vehicle and the model should shed up to 100 kg from its total weight, compared to the already available M4 Coupe. The 3.0 liter six-cylinder turbocharged engine will be maintained, but we have no clue at this point on its performance figures.
However, rumors are stating that this should pack around 500 HP (368 kW) and this means that it will be significantly more powerful than the M4 Coupe, in its standard form, with its 431 HP (317 kW). There will be some differences in the Euro-spec and US versions of the car because of the stricter regulation in the U.S., so the one aimed towards the Old Continent should pack more goodies. The BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage R Concept is celebrating 40 years of BMW North America and it is coming with a lot of impressive features, including the carbon fiber roll cage, the white leather wrapped carbon fiber seats, six-point safety harnesses, wood trim with illuminated sections, steering wheel mounted column display and so on. No details on its performance have been made public at this time.
