The brand new Donkervoort D8 GTO Bilster Berg Edition has been officially unveiled following a teaser which has been released just a week ago.
Donkervoort’s newest creation is called the D8 GTO Bilster Berg Edition and its name has been inspired by the Bilster Berg track in Germany. The model in question is coming with a new front fascia, which is now more aggressive thanks to the carbon fiber slates. Besides this, the impressive ride has been also fitted with a revised roll cage, as the car company is stating, and last, but not least, you will also notice the special badging on its body.
In case you were wondering what its interior design is like, you can check out the small photo gallery posted below. According to the guys from Donkervoort, changes made to the cabin are limited but they do include the dashboard plaque, the carbon fiber seats which have been wrapped up in a special leather, a data logger, GPS navigation system, a digital instrument cluster and that’s about all.
The new Donkervoort D8 GTO Bilster Berg Edition is packing a 2.5 liter TFSI five-cylinder engine under its hood, sourced from Audi, which is backed up by the ultra light flywheel and race clutch. The company hasn’t released any performance specifications on it so this will not be the last time when we will hear about it. That and its pricing, 194,000 euros, VAT included. Production of the vehicle will be limited to just 14 units.
